OOTD: Granny Skirt

So I bought this skirt at the thrift store. I really liked the print. It's one of those skirts everyone's grandmother owns......actually I think my grandmother has this exact skirt (LOL). But when I saw it had an idea to revamp it. I want to shorten it to knee lenght, add a huge elastic band, and add an industrial silver zipper down the front. I think it will be pretty hot, I do like the look I created here (although I had to roll it up serveral times because it is extremely too long).

Although I really didn't do anything for my birthday, I just really enjoyed the best birthday gift ever; my goddaughter, Miss Londyn Ashleigh Paul. She was born on the 7/8/2010 to my best friend since 3rd grade, Jesikah Harris. Isn't she beautiful?! Love of my life!!!!!!!
